Trims
The new Kia EV6 is offered in five trim levels: Light, Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT.
Light: This entry-level trim is loaded with plenty of standard features to ensure you a comfortable journey. There are amenities such as heated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, a wireless phone charger, and more.
Light Long Range: The Light Long Range is equipped similarly to the Light model but has a more powerful battery and better range.
Wind: The Wind includes everything from the Light and adds a hands-free liftgate, full synthetic leather upholstery, front parking sensors, and a premium 14-speaker Meridian audio system.
GT-Line: The GT-Line builds on the Winds design with more equipment and a sporty look. The amenities offered include a sunroof, heated rear seats (AWD only), a head-up display, and evasive steering assistance.
GT: As the highest trim, the GT is the highest-performing model. Along with the GT-Line features, the GT includes adaptive suspension dampers, summer performance tires, and a limited-slip rear differential.
Performance
The new Kia EV6 is available in two powertrains. There's the standard single electric motor mounted on the rear axle to give the vehicle rear-wheel drive. Two electric motors can be outfitted on both axles to provide an all-wheel drive. All models draw power from a 58-kWh or a 77.4-kWh battery pack that offers different power outputs depending on the drive configurations.
Light

Charging & Range
Powering the entry-level EV6 is a 58.0-kWh battery pack with all other EV6s having a 77.4-kWh unit. The EPA estimates that models with the larger pack earns up to 310 miles of range. Meanwhile, the smaller battery offers a shorter range of 232 miles. Opting for the high-performance GT will drop the range to about 206 miles per charge.
According to Kia, its battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in under 18 minutes when plugged into a 350-kW fast charger. When hooked up to a Level 2 outlet, the model is expected to recharge the battery from 10 to 100 percent in seven hours.
Design
The design of the new EV6 gives the model the look of a sports car more than an SUV. Which isn't a bad thing. Step into the cabin, and you'll find an attractive and futuristic look, mixing high-tech amenities like a digital dashboard with practical elements such as a floating center console. Additionally, there are 28 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 54 cubes total, with the rear seatbacks folded flat.
Technology
Kia has given the EV6 a striking interior design and added a fair number of features, too. There's a 12.0-inch touchscreen with is an extension of its 12.0-inch digital gauge, and the display features over-the-air updates and voice commands. The system also offers Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Safety
As you travel to work or take a long drive, the new EV6 will ensure you have a safe journey thanks to its suite of advanced driver-aids. Standard tech includes automated emergency braking, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. In higher trims are features like a head-up display, automated lane-change assistance, and evasive steering assist.
